The Landscape is a well-documented concept, often exploring ideas of shape and form, or the creation of a narrative around a place and time, without such imagery how would we see beyond the world around us? Many explore, or sightsee on holidays, in comparison the world of a photography studio can seem restrictive, bland and claustrophobic, but I have been keen to explore the ways in which I can create imagery that breaks out of the familiarity of the studio shoot, while still working inside of it.
